It is most likely the multifunction switch has a bad contact, also pull and check the main hdlight switch for burned connectors.

SOURCE: Low beams only work sometimes

Remove the plastic trim from around steering column so you can access the wires to the multi-function switch(turn signal switch). The RD/YE wire is the feed from the headlamp switch for low beams,it then leaves the multi-function switch on the RD/BK wire and feeds fuses no. 10 and 4 in the under dash fuse panel and from there to the headlamps right side is the DB/LG and left side is the WH/LG. Get you a 12V test light and make sure you have voltage in these places. I suspect that the multi-function switch itself has gone bad since you stated that they would work at times when you activated the turn signals.

I have a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer. Problem started with the air conditioner blowing hot air and when it does this, I noticed the temperature gauge doesn't register anything.

Hi Christy.
It sounds like your BCM, (Body Control Module) is failing, or your Connector/Connectors to your BCM could be at fault. They could be corroded, Damaged, burned, loose, and/or could possibly have bad wires on or going to the connectors. I would take it to a mechanic that you trust and have them check it for you. Do you have a check engine light on? Hope this helps.

Low beams, radio &a windows sometime don't work

Check all grounds, remove and clean even if they are tight. Sounds like a poor ground issue.

Replaced battery in crv and now headlights don't work

Check the low beam fuse in the fuse box, usually a 20A. If the fuse is blown/shorted during the replacement of the battery, your lights won't work. Replace the fuse if that's your case. Hope this helps.

Low beam headlight drivers side don`t work. high beam it works.

Check tour bulbs first and replace if blown. If OK then check wiring backwards from light to dip switch.

Low beams don't work on 1997 Honda Civic

If your high beams work and your low beams do not work... try changing the light bulbs first. The low beams can burn out and the high beams still work.

I have a 03 gmc 2500 hd im having headlight problems but only sometimes and only when i have to high beams on and I have to switch to low beams the low beams don't come except when you hit a bump in...

Replace the headlight dimmer switch on the steering column and check the connector to it fro signs of overheating, replace connector and switch as one repair. Do not use crimp connectors, solder all wires as needed and use shrink tube to insult the solder joints.

The high beams work but the low beams dont

Check the fuses. If both low-beams went out at exact same time, it is probably the fuse (hopefully not a wiring short).
If they went out with a couple days or weeks of each other, it could just be the bulbs. They typically have very close lifespans and if they were installed at the same time, could burn out near the same time.
If the fuse is good, take the bulbs out. Look for a break in the filament.
Sometimes a fuse can break right at the base and you can't see it and sometimes a bulb can burn out without breaking the filament. If you can't see a break in either, start by replacing the fuse. (You can even take a same sized fuse out of a non-vital electronic (maybe radio, or power windows) and put it in the low beam spot.) If they work, there's the problem. Replace the missing fuse and your good. If not, then replace the bulbs.
