Where is the reverse switch on a 2007 ford escape 2.2l automatic my reverse lights are not coming on I checked the fuse and of course bulbs and replaced the NEUTRAL sensor as well please I need help,

The reverse switch on a 2007 Ford Escape 2.2L automatic is located on the transmission. It is usually near the shift linkage and is responsible for detecting when the vehicle is in reverse gear. If you have already checked the fuse and bulbs and replaced the neutral safety switch, it is possible that the reverse switch may be faulty or there could be an issue with the wiring leading to the switch.

Anyway to bypass an idler pulley on a 2007 Ford escape?

Torque for the idler bolt is only 93 lb-in (10.5 Nm). Less than a typical spark plug torque setting. Likely you are over tightening and weakening the bolt.

If you can't get a torque wrench on the bolt while in place then practice using a different similar bolt to get a feel for 90 to 100 lb-in. Note; you need to hold the torque wrench at near the same length of what ever tool you use to tighten the bolt in place. Use the end of your fingers to apply pressure, don't grasp the wrench.

Code for keyless entry for 2007 ford escape. Where do I find it? How do I reset?

They usually put a small sticker about the size of typewriter correction tape in a hidden location. It can be on a hinge for the rear hatch or trunk or even on a hood hinge. You do not have to reset unless someone changed the numbers and many times it will reboot to the new number. The reset was something like holding a key like #5 and then touching #7 once and entering your five new numbers within 5 seconds. It has been 30 years since I reset my last car number and there can be something different since then.

My vehicle door ajar light keeps going off and on and then my lights will come on. With that going on I cannot lock my door because it is making my car alarm go off. What is the issue?

One of the door switches is either wet, broken or the wire came off of it. When you open the doors, you should see a small peg with a hex head nut on it that is sticking out on the door frame. When the door closes, this is pressed down and breaks the connection to the frame, if the wire comes off in the back or the switch breaks then it contacts the metal car body and you get the issues you describe.
