Front end of car vibrates when A/C or heat is turned on

I would look at your AC compressor. Your compressor is suppose to run when your defrost is on as well as when you turn your AC on. If the compressor is not in good condition it will make a lot of drag and pull engine RPMs down.

Vibrating from the front end of my f150

Check you wheel bearings. Raise the vehicle and support safely. Grab hold of the tire top and bottom and check for play. Do this side to side and diagonally also. While you are at it it wouldnt be a bad idea to check the rest of your suspension.

I have 1998 Mercury Sable DOC. I have some vibrating in the front end, I have had bearings, ball joints, brake pads, rotors, calipers, tie rod ends replaced and the vehicle still shakes. I notice it more...

OK, I would change the tires if I had vibrating in the front end after all of that work.

Have the wheels/tires spin balanced in the front and have the tire tech check for out of roundness as it spins on the electronic balancer.

I wouldn't be surprised if the tires were out of round.

I usually recommend Goodyear or Michelin tires with an A traction and A or B Temperature rating and a long treadlife warranty (60,000 mi. or above) to get a rock solid feel in the front end at all speeds.

I just solved such a problem on my 1997 Cadillac Deville Limousine which had used Goodyear Integrity tires and replaced them with new Goodyear Assurance Tires which solved a front end and general body vibration at highway speeds.

Good luck on getting new tires for your vehicle, and hope the shakiness goes away!

What could cause vibration in the right front end of car?

it all depends on the speed and what u are doing at the time the vibration occurrs, if during braking you have warped brake rotors, if at higher speeds tire balance, at low speeds front end wear. Any tire shop will road test and give u an idea of the cost to repair in most cases free of charge.

My toyota 1990 is vibrating when moving at 40 to 45 kmp

Hi there. There are a number of things that can cause these symptoms. The most common is that the tires on the front are worn unevenly or that the car needs a front end alignment. take the care to a garage that you trust and have them check the tires and the front end alignment. good luck.

My Silverado front end wobbles at any speed, not affected braking

Couple of checks , mud in front rims will give you a wobble. Front tire cord seperation or loose wheel nuts. , Wore out tie rod end, front wheel bearing play, or a weight has fallen off the rim and it needs balancing. If it is vibrating your steering wheel, have the front end looked at right away.
