The low beam lights on my 2007 kia optima is very dim,at night I really don't have any distance in front of the car. I have to really use the high beam. Even more I have change my bulbs to HID kit. But still this bulbs are not that bright enough. Is there any proper solutions. Don't tell me to check fuse because I already checked and it works looks like new.

Are the headlight lenses discolored/yellow? If so the lenses will need to be refinished in order for the proper lighting to be emitted.

Testimonial: "Headlight lenses are clear like new. That is not problem at all."

Low beam toyota corolla

There will be no adjustment for low beam as the headlight assy. adjusts for both beams. Adjust lights on high beam from a distance of about 3 ft(1meter) The center of the beam to be slightly below center height of the light and slightly to the left (AUS) or right (USA). Face the car to a wall at night is best.

Dim low beam headlights on kia optima 2007

It is (most likely) not an electrical issue! It is an illumination/reflection issue. Headlight housing is probably corroded. Look at my comment above for an explanation.

I need the location of the adjustments for the lower beam on a 2007 Kia Optima. The manual shows one, and it IS labeled lower beam in the book, but that adjustment moves the high beam.

there is a bolt on the back of the housing, 8 or 10mm that adjusts the low beam up and down. I hated the aiming of the low beam headlights too

2003 kia optima battery light came on and headlights went dim and then out but high beams still work, dash lights are dim and the car still runs.

The alternator has stopped charging for some reason.
First check alternator drive belt is ok;
Check dash 'battery' (or 'ALT') light illuminates when ignition on and motor not running- if not, check 'ALT' lamp is not blown and connections to alternator are ok;
If all above ok, the alternator may be faulty.

2001 kia optima headlights issues

Each light has its own fuse. Have you checked them? Maybe try switching two of them to see if they swap which one works... Once in a while a fuse that looks good has actually gone bad. Comment on this post if this doesn't help and we can move to the next step. Good luck!

Kia optima low beams

First verify that the switch is energizing the relay in both positions by turning the low beams on and then pulling up the relay--does it click? If not, replace the switch. If yes, next check for power on the red wire as it comes out of the column. Switch on, no power--replace the switch. If power, check for power at the head-low fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. No power--find break in wire. If power, check for power on the yellow/red wire as it comes out of the fuse box. No power--repair fuse box. Power--check for power at lamps--same wire. No power--repair yellow/red wire.
