The ECM will only pulse the injectors if it is getting all the inputs it requires, therefore check for crank/cam sensor inputs and other major signals.

Is there a relay for the injectors on a 2005 Nissan Titan and if so where is it located? Is it internal in the IPDM like the fuel pump relay or is It external?

There is no relay for the injectors. Fuses 54 & 55 in the IDPM supply power to the injectors with the ignition switch in the on or start position, the ECM - engine computer turns them on by supplying a ground in a pulse width modulation .

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The amount of fuel injected from the fuel injector is determined by the ECM. The ECM controls the length of time the valve remains open (injection pulse duration). The amount of fuel injected is a program value in the ECM memory. The program value is preset by engine operating conditions. These conditions are determined by input signals (for engine speed and intake air) from both the crankshaft position sensor and the mass air flow sensor.

Does my2001 chev tahoe with 5.3 have a EFI cold start valve ?

No , the PCM/ ECM just turns the fuel injectors on a little longer till warm up.
The powertrain control module (PCM) reads voltages from several sensors in order to determine how much fuel to give the engine. The fuel is delivered during one of several conditions called modes. The PCM controls all modes.
?€¢
The Starting Mode--With the ignition switch in the ON position, before engaging the starter, the PCM energizes the fuel pump relay for 2 seconds allowing the fuel pump to build up pressure. The PCM first tests speed density, then switches to the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. The PCM also uses the engine coolant temperature (ECT), the throttle position (TP), and the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensors to determine the proper air/fuel ratio for starting. The PCM controls the amount of fuel delivered in the starting mode by changing the pulse width of the injectors. This is done by pulsing the injectors for very short times.

I replaced my fuel pump when my 1999 yukon wouldn't start one day. Now still won't start and I replaced the fuel filter. There is pressure but no gas getting to the engine. Don't know w

Guessing when you say pressure that you have fuel pressure and that the fuel pump is working but the injectors aren't pulsing and injecting fuel into the cylinders. The way your fuel system works is that you should have constant power at each injector and the vehicles computer (the ECM) gets readings from different sensors and send a quick ground pulse in order to complete the circuit. each time the ECM sends a ground pulse, that's when the injector injects fuel so the ground signal/pulse is quick (on and off, one and off..you get the idea). The first thing I would do if your fuel pump is pumping and you have fuel pressure is check the fuse. The fuse you want to check should be a 20 amp fuse in the fuse panel under the hood of the vehicle in the engine compartment. Below is a diagram of the fuse layout and I have marked the fuse you need to check (the ECM 1 fuse). If that fuse is blown you will not have that constant power at the injectors. If blown replace and that should solve the problem unless it blows again which would mean you have a short. If it isn't blown make sure you have power at all time when the key is on. The pink wire at each injector should be the power wire. If no power you need to locate the open wire for that circuit (coming from that fuse to each injector). This is where I would start. If you need further instructions as far as any more testing procedures, reply/comment here or feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. Hope it's as simple as a fuse for your sake and I hope this helped.

Mi problem its po371 howcan I fix my problem my car is 2002 nissan altima 2.5

What does this mean?OBD Code P0371 refers to the optical sensor which provides a high resolution signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) by counting pulses on the sensor disk located in the injection pump. The high resolution is one of the most important inputs by the PCM for fuel control and timing. This test monitors the number of high resolution pulses which have been missed (not detected). It's based on a comparison between the number of pulses that were detected since the last pump cam pulse and the number of the pulses that should have occurred. There are approximately 64 high resolution pulses for every cam pulse. SymptomsPossible sumptoms of OBD code P0371
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) CausesPossible causes of OBD code P0371
- Open or short in the optical sensor circuit - Optical sensor connector - Damaged optical sensor - Damaged PCM or ECM The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: There are too many high resolution pulses from the optical sensor to the PCM Possible Solutions- If damage, repair optical sensor circuit - Replaced optical sensor - Replaced PCM or ECM

No injecter pulse

Have you checked the fuses ?
If you are not getting power to the injectors, it looks like the pink and black wire is powered by fuse number 7 in the box. The injectors are grounded by the ECM.

1998 buick park avenue ultra changed fuel pump fuses good relay good pump not working does pcm control this function if so is there a test i can perform to check

PCM stands for Pulse Code Modulation. Pulse-code modulation (PCM) is a method used to digitally represent sampled analog signals. It is the standard form for fuel injection computers. A PCM stream is a digital representation of an analog signal, in which the magnitude of the analog signal is sampled regularly at uniform intervals, with each sample being quantized to the nearest value within a range of digital steps. So no, Pulse Code Modulation does not control the fuel pump. The Fuel Injection Computer does control the fuel pump via a relay. Bad connection between the fuel pump relay and the in-tank fuel pump, or a bad fuel pump.

Turns over but wont start i got fire and fuel to the fuel rail but the injecters are not delivering fuel any ideas whats wronge

sounds like u got no injector pulse comin from ecm.we need to pull ecm codes an review them ,possible camshaft sensors faulty they usually provide reference pulses to ecm for injector firing or pulse.without this pulse ur injectors will never open up to let fuel enter combustion chamber. one way of checking pulse is to connect a noid light(small light bulb that plugs in injector pigtail to chek for power to injector and ur pulsing ground coming from ecm to injector) an test for a blinking light while cranking engine.

Honda accord incorrect gear ratio code p0370

Honda P0370 - Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Malfunction.

The optical sensor provides a high resolution signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) by counting pulses on the sensor disk located in the injection pump. The high resolution is one of the most important inputs by the PCM for fuel control and timing. This test monitors the number of high resolution pulses which have been missed (not detected). Possible Causes:
- Open or short in the optical sensor circuit
- Optical sensor connector
- Damaged optical sensor
- Damaged PCM
- Damaged ECM

Possible Solutions:
- If damaged repair the optical sensor circuit
- Replace optical sensor
- Replace PCM
- Replace ECM

Not sure where you got incorrect gear ratio. This P0370 DTC is for what I have listed above.
