30 amp fuse for power window under the hood.... keep blowing

The only 30 amp under the hood is a fuse link that powers the RWAL (rear wheel anti-lock) relay so just remove the RWAL relay and try it. I hope this helps. Take Care.

Try unplugging the power control module. If the fuse still blows its wiring if it doesn't I would guess the power control module is bad.

Look for shorts in the circuitry.

20 is a lot and is probably right. Does it blow out when you use defrost or just heat? The reason I ask is because the air conditioner comes on when it is on defrost.

WHEN A FUSE BLOWS YOU HAVE A SHORT OR SOMETHING SHORTING OUT IN THAT CIRCUIT.MANY THNGS CONTROLLED BY 30 AMP FUSE PCM POWER RELAY, POWER WINDOWS.LOOK ON FUSE DIAGRAM COVER FOR 30 AMP FUSE THAT BLOWING SEE WHAT CIRCUIT THAT FUSE CONTROL OR LOOK IN DASH OWNERS MANUAL SEE WHAT THE 30 AMP FUSE CONTROL SEE WHAT CAUSING IT TO BLOW.

i have bad news for you the seats and door looks do not chair a common fuse.

in the under hood fuse box fuse # 16 15amp, fuse # 2 30 amp, fuse # 22 20 amp
in side fuse box behing left side of the dash fuse # 20 5 amp.

in side fuse box behind left side of dash fuse #1 30 amp, fuse # 2 30 amp.

Check ALL your fuses (under-hood as well as in-dash). It is not uncommon for a current surge in excess of 100 amps to blow other fuses.

if the fuse keeps blowing chances are that there is a short in the circuit. check the harness related to fuel system.
