One of your tires is probably lower than the other. for a blessed red than the other tires. causative to turn at different speeds. the easiest way to get it out is to raise the vehicle up so all 4 tires off the ground.

happens with me all the time in my 97 Grand Cherokee

Not sure if I read your post right, but you have to have a hot wire to the ignition switch from the battery, independent of anything else on the car, before the switch will work.
The CPS is a common problem on the jeeps, though. If bad, you may not get a coil signal.

if its a tilt wheel there are 4 screws that need to be tightend. you have to remove locking plate and turn signal switch and ignition switch to access them.

4 wheel drive

put it in 2 wheel drive a drive in reverse for about 5-8 ft and this should unbind it.......good luck!
