If you have coolant in the radiator check the radiator fan make sure it is turning on. If the radiator fan does not turn on and car overheats replace the fan assembly. It is a very common problem for a PT cruiser. Hope this helps please rate if it does.

I have a 2004 Chrysler Sebring and it is running hot I have replaced the thermostat 10 times and it stills run hot no leak from the radiator but it bubbles back out ouf the intake jug

Take the car to a mechanic and have the coolant tested for hydrocarbons. A constantly overheating vehicle may often have a blown head gasket that causes hot gases to overheat the coolant.

I have a 1996 nissan maxima that i put a new radio in now every time i turn my car off the memory on the radio and the clock rest how do i fix it?

There are normally two wires that provide power to the radio. One is hot only when the car's ignition is in the the RUN or ACCESSORY position. The other is connected to a constant hot voltage in order to preserve clock and station presets. Most likely you have connected the always hot wire to a switched power source. You need to rewire that wire to a constant hot power source to correct the issue.

Ford focus radio wiring 12v+ constant

Don't know the focus radio hookup, but on most cars, there are "two" hot lines. One constant to run the clock, the other on/off via the ignition. From what I read the one going to the ignition is staying "on?" Clarify

My aurora runs around 240 to 260 all the time but after driven for a while will run hot and when i go to add water the resevoir will push the water out.new water pump insyalled last year and have put in...

When you replaced the thermostat did you replace it with a lesser degree than called for? If your vehicle runs that high constantly then I would suggest it.

Can you find "hot" spots on your engine with a thermometer? Or is the termperature pretty constant. When you check the radiator make sure you check all the way across to make sure that you check for a partial radiator blockage. Because that is one possible cause.

Im hooked up to a trailer, I have blinkers and brakes, but no hot for running lights, or constant hot wire at the plug. Ive used a test light and cant find a hot wire under the truck at the plug

All late model gms have a seperate fuse for trailer lights in the under hood fuse box. Your truck running lights will still work but no trailer lights

I want to install a componant that needs power all the time what fuse should I use

I would run a direct line from the battery but other than that the best way to find a constant hot is to go through the fuse panel with a multimeter and locate the fuses that offer a constant hot with the ignition off.

1997 dodge intrepid running hot!

check first if you are loosing water or cooling fluids on your radiator. There may be a leak or the radiator cap may no longer prevent the steam from escaping. check the radiator fans if they are turning. You can check the fan if it is working by removing the temp sensor at the lower radiator hose. The fan should turn on by then.

Trying to install a new stereo.

If you don't have one, buy yourself a $5.00 12volt test light, it will come in handy in situations like these, and many others. Can you not find 12volt constant in yoour old connection?
