There are four seperate refrigeration circuits in that unit, be sure you know which circuit failed. Try this link it has a lot of good information for you. http://www.achrnews.com/articles/83923-oil-pressure-problems-in-refrigeration-systems

2002 jeep liberty ac clutch not engaging

Could just be low on refrigerant, bad relay, or bad clutch. You can buy a can of r134a that comes with gauge to check refrigerant. You can swap the relay with the horn relay if refrigerant is good to test it.

The aircon system is fully gased yet the compresser wont engage, are there pressure switches in the system

Yes , two , a low pressure an a high pressure cut off switch . If either of these were bad there would be a DTC - diagnostic trouble code stored in the PCM - engine computer . Does your Captive have manual or automatic heating an A/C ?
Pressure transducer switching incorporates the functions of the high-pressure and the low-pressure cutout switches along with the fan cycling switch. The pressure transducer is located in the high-side liquid refrigerant line behind the right strut tower, between the right strut tower and the front of dash. The output from this pressure transducer goes to the electronic control module (ECM), which controls the compressor function based on the pressure signal.

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle

2

  1. Start the engine.
  2. Turn the blower switch to any position except OFF.
  3. Press the A/C switch to the ON position.
Does the A/C compressor clutch engage?
Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections
Go to Step 3

3

  1. Connect a scan tool.
  2. Use the scan tool to command the A/C compressor clutch relay ON. When the relay is energized the cooling fan will also run at low speed.

Holden Barina Model 2006 engine light comes on & off

Please check the oil pressure transducer , check and replace the oil filter. Also check if there is connection issue of the oil pressure switch. since the ECU has not detected any faults it can be associated with some external problems. Check also the ground to the panel and the cluster connections on the dash.

I have a 04 dodge ram 1500 im trying to find out whats wrong with the oil pressure is aways low but the check gages does not come on

Measure your oil pressure with an external gauge. The transducer (sending unit) has high failure rate, you may not actually be running low pressure.....

The oil pressure on my dodge ram 1500 keeps dropping and won't go back up, the engine light is on the mechanic i took it too said it was the water pump got a completely brand new one didnt work changed...

Yes. Remove the pressure transducer and screw in a "known good" external pressure gauge.

If you have correct pressure, the transducer (sender) may be faulty, check all wiring connections very well. If you find one connection terribly loose, fix it and retest before attaching an external gauge.

So, what if no oil pressure. Well, the only way to find that is surgery. Be aware that oiling systems have a pressure bleed off. This spring loaded pop off valve will open at set pressure. The effect is that you have WAY more volume of oil available, but typically lots of oil exits at the pressure valve. This valve is subject to particulate matter, that may keep it from closing.

Did the valves get noisy? If so, oil starved. Do not run engine any more, commence surgery.

If, on the other hand, the valves did not get noisy, that indicates oil WAS getting through...so possibly a sensor (sender, transducer, all the same function).

My suggestion is to NOT PARTS replace. Find the issue, and resolve that.

Engine oil pressure light will flash sometimes when shifted into park, not every time. 90,000 miles showing 3.0 liter v6

REmove the pressure transducer and test with actual pressure gauge. If within spec at the exact conditions, replace transducer (oil presser sending unit.)

Low oil pressure light keeps coming on

Well, either you have a pressure issue or a transducer issue.

Pull the pressure switch and measure the oil pressure with a "known good" pressure gauge. If pressure is within specs, replace the pressure transducer (switch).

Is engine temperature badly affect AC compressor prformance ?provided that i bought a new compressor since 9 months but now stop function despite adequate fereon

It should not affect the A/C compressor. The A/C coils are actually in front of the radiator so the A/C should cool regardless.

Here's what you want the system to do. You want the Freon to maintain a steady pressure when the A/C is on. There are 2 pressure cutoff switches. 1high, 1low pressure. The compressor will cutout when either switch is tripped. This means a moderate amount of Freon is supposed to be in the system to avoid tripping the switches.

At this point your dryer tank will frost or sweat, the lines from the tank will frost too. The Freon can remove the most heat in this condition.

You can loan tools from Autozone or Oreillys with a deposit. You need to measure the pressure in the system and have the car windows rolled down and air on high to make it perform. Also use the correct "oil charge", the compressor will fail without oil.

Your compressor will not start if the pressure is below the Low pressure minimum. You may want to change the LOW pressure switch. If the compressor does not start, check the fuse or add Freon. The compressor will not run if there is too much pressure. Measure and remove Freon to cancel the high pressure switch.

When you have your pressure right everything should work providing the system was properly prepped before the Freon was added. Final note, the manifold gauges show TEMPERATURE variables for installing Freon. In simple terms, Freon is a gas that expands and if you add it in Cold weather it will expand and have higher pressure and be overfilled in Hot weather.

2005 Jeep GC with 4.7. A/C compressor will not run.

Check the low pressure sensor and the hi pressure sensor to be sure they are operating properly. Also check compressor relay and all fuses.
