Shovel snow off of a car without scratching the paint job, leaving no marks on the hood or trunk.
How much show? If it's not too deep, I'd use a towel wrapped around a broom and brush it off that way.
Testimonial: "I'll try that. Here in Chicago last year it was a monster-storm and maybe that's one reason why I ended up with a few scratches. I buff those out now but this year it snowed early... ! So I'm preparing for this. My car is literally almost 100% mint condition and I take very good care of it too, inside, out and under the hood. Thank you for your suggestion, I'll try this. :)"
Depending on how heavy the snow is, I have (believe it or not) used a LEAF BLOWER on my pristine Corvette. If the snow is too heavy, wait until spring...
Wait till spring, let nature take its course. BTW, it is spring.

try looking at the vin plate inside the engine compartment. it should be the first set of three alphanumeric characters. the plate is exactly in the center right near the windshield.

find the cable that is supposed to attach to the latch, and grab it with a pair of pliers or the like and pull.

I had the same problem and the flasher is not located in the fuse box because it is not a normal flasher. the cougar has an electronic flasher unit that is located on the left side of the center console. the best and cheapest place to order a new one is amazon.com. they run about $30-$40

If you open trunk and look on inside of trunk where hinge bolts are you will see code numbers . Owners manual will tell you how.
