Hello Based on the symptoms you may have a refrigerant leak in the AC system and it is "low on charge", to confirm this you will need a shop to hook up a special set of pressure gauges and watch the system pressures, they can then tell if the system is low on charge, if it is low the leak in the system must be repaired before any refrigerant can be added.
if you have a dash chck engine light,if the codes suggest its a evap problem,either you gas cap is bad (not air tight) or there is a seal where your fuel pump goes into your gas tank is bad,if you've recently had a fuel pump installed it is 99% sure the seal is your problem
The low pressure port is on the evaporator canaster on the Passenger side firewall behind the battery. Start the engine, turn on A/C, connect charge hose to port and pierce can of refrigerant and back the valve out to let refrigerant into the cooling system. It will probably take a few cans if it has rear A/C. Make sure you dont overpressurize the system, Use a guage with a safe zone meter to monitor the line pressure. Make sure the A/C clutch is kicking in or the system wont take the refrigerant. I hope this helps a little.

u need charge hose,find ac compressor and follow the larger line/hose untill u get to the low side service port this is the one (port could be on compressor it will be the small port
The low side fitting you hook to is not under the hood(Not in engine compartment)To charge ac you MUST attach charge hose to fitting on the side of the aluminion acumulator LOCATED behind right (pass) headlight, reach under fender in front of right front tire, behind bumper.BELIEVE ME it is there, on side of tank. Reach under and feel for it.
