That error comes from the CAM SHAFT POSITION SENSOR. It tells the computer when the cylinder is at TDC. The common causes for it throwing the code 1361 is, Worn timing belt, bad connection, bad sensor.

"TDC Sensor" intermittent interruption.

It could be the CAM position sensor, located behind the timing cover.

Here's the info for it: part # 370598 SENSOR ASSY., TDC CYLINDER Retail: 49.32 Wholesale: 36.99

Po 1361 fault code

Unfortunately, I believe that code deals withIgnition Control Circuit Low Voltage. If your truck is not running, maybe you have a short to the Ignition Control. If it is running, you may have triggered this code while cranking it over while the truck's battery was low from it being awhile since it ran, etc. Good luck and hope this helps, Brian

P1361

You may need a shop manual for this.
Code 1361 is for a problem with the coil control circuit from the computer or the ignition module. Those circuits would need to be checked out.

Do i need to change timing belt if p1361 code

Not sure about the question here.
Code 1361 is for a sensor mounted in the cyl head that "reads" cam position for top dead center.
The sensor could be failing, or the timing belt could have slipped.
A mechanic would check the timing marks on the cam and crank gears to see if the belt has slipped.

CODE 1361 Intermittent Interruption In TDC 1 Sensor Circuit

First off check to see if the connection may be loose or not even connected. also check the wires. Probably you will end up needing a new sensor, but maybe not. it is the Top Dead Center sensor.

Hope help (remember rated this post).
