We do not have the diagram but did you know there is one under the hood of the car, it is the emission system vacuum hose routing sticker.

Generally speaking, code 12 means the battery has been disconnected at some point in time.
Code 44 means the battery temp sensor circuit is out of normal range, too high or too low.

check the temp of the heater hose going into fire wall,make sure they are both the same temp,if they are replace the thermostat.
if one is hot and the other is not,the heater core is partially block and will need blowed out with air hose or replaced

Behind the dash. You will have to pull the whole dash assembly. It looks like a little radiator.

I have located a chilton manual CD online that I am will have in two days. Just hope it doesn't rain between now and then.
