Jeep code 34

shoe drops, does it run?
97 is OBD2 in usa, so why not do a real scan, the blink codes do NOT tell all going on.
you could RTM here, read the manual here, the FSM.

34 Dead spark (primary side) DTC errors (P0351)

is it a no start, cranks ok."?
does the ASD relay drop out?
is there spark for 2 seconds cranking, and ASD drops.?
it seems the ignition coil is bad or unplugged. (low voltage side)

but doing a full scan , while cranking tells more, (nostart)
or running......???????????
tells way more.

1994 mercury airbag code 34

You can't disable the system to turn the light off. The system is disabled when the light is on.
Code 34 is for the driver side bag circuit, which could be several different issues. I never recommend car owners working on SRS but you can buy a shop manual and give it a try if you like.

93 Grand am rough idle/misfiring

There is a loose connection on the sensor, or clean it with a fine Sandy paper, it's best to replace. If the problem persists, see a specialist.

DTC - 34 MAP Sensor Circuit Error (Signal Low Indicating High Vacuum)

The ECM uses the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor as an indication of engine load. High voltage would indicate low engine vacuum and higher engine load. Low voltage would indicate high engine vacuum and lower engine load. The ECM uses the information from this sensor to help calculate fuel delivery and spark timing.

Fault Code Description:
* 34 - MAP sensor circuit error (signal low indicating high vacuum)

Symptoms:
* Poor engine performance
* Engine running lean (not enough fuel, hard starting, lack of power)

Common Problems:
* GM MAP sensors do not commonly fail
* Due to erratic engine vacuum, other engine performance problems can cause a code 34 to set

Good luck (remember to rate this answer).

I have a 1995 isuzu pickup it giving me error codes 15 and 34 and I've already been to 3 repair shops and can't get it fixed can you give me some help

I have the manual for my 93 rodeo and code 15 says ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR-SENSOR SIGNAL SHORTED, GROUNDED OR OUT OF RANGE. Check your coolant sensor by the water neck-it sends a signal to your dash gauge (coolant temp)
Code 34 my book has 2 symptoms- if its a 3.1 liter engine it says MAP SENSOR-SIGNAL VOLTAGE LOW-CHECK INCORRECT IDLE SPEED, VACUUM LEAKS, LOOSE AIR DUCT, MAP SENSOR CIRCUIT
If its NOT a 3.1 liter engine, then code 34 is EGR TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT-SHORTED

Hope this helps.

Car keeps dying

Trouble Code 33 and 34 are the MAF/MAP Sensor Circuit. It sounds like you've replaced that sensor already. Did you also have the code 34 before putting in the new sensor?
Or did this code start after it's replacement? Any other codes appearing?

Troubleshooting it would depend if it has the Speed Density Update. The dealer should be able to provide that info.

Here's your fault code list:

13 oxygen sensor circuit 14 coolant temp sensor circuit (high temp) 15 coolant temp sensor circuit (low temp) 21 throttle position sensor (TPS) circuit (high signal) 22 throttle position sensor (TPS) circuit (low signal) 23 manifold air temp (MAT) circuit (low temp) 24 vehicle speed sensor (VSS) circuit 25 manifold air temp (MAT) circuit (high signal) 31 wastegate solenoid electrical circuit 32 exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) circuit 33 mass air flow (MAF) circuit (gm/sec high) 34 mass air flow (MAF) circuit (gm/sec low) 41 cam sensor circuit 42 C3I EST or bypass circuit failure 43 electronic spark control (ESC) circuit 44 oxygen sensor circuit (lean exhaust) 45 oxygen sensor circuit (rich exhaust) 51 PROM error 52 calpak error 55 ECM error
