I would tend to believe it's more likely a worn sway bar bushing or link if it's a rattle or a small clunk, if it's a loud clunk probably a strut, try bouncing he back of the car when parked, if you get the clunk probably a strut if only when driving, turning, braking probably just a bushing on the sway bar
Check drive shaft assembly for worn u-joints.if OK check for worn pinion bearings or loose pinion nut. This can all be check shaking drive shaft at each end and looking for slop in u-joints or pinion flange.
yes it sounds about right but it will be one bearing not both also check the tires make sure they are wearing even in some cases tires will sound like bearing noise if they are choppy (high and low spots) if it turns out to be a bearing they are bolt on. very easy to do good luck
It sounds like you have a bad universal joint. It's most likely on your rear drive shaft. Innitially it's not a very expensive repair but if you delay it will do additional damage and cost more it could also possibly become dangerous.
its a wheel bearing. .will need to be inspected to determine the correct one. Also tires could also do this if the steel seperated internally. Rotate the suspected tire to see if it follows the tire.
Looks like you need to change the brake pads sooner than later, the brown residue is the brake dust and the burning smell might be the dust hitting the the tyre.
it is either a tire or you have a wheel bearing going bad. sounds like a bad bearing. you can usually narrow down side by driving and turning the side that is bad will get louder when weight shifts to that side and quieter when weight shifts off
does the van shake or vibrate? does the van have tires on it ?start by switching the left rear with the right rear test drive and listen for soun if no sound then the tire has a bad steel belt replace tire if the sound is still present. jack up van and spin tire if no sound is heard replace wheel bearing and if there is still a sound look into brake drum for possible springs or clips that may have fallen into drum causing noise but i would say its more than likely the rear wheel bearing to change that u must buy a new bearing and follow instructions on replacing good
