This is the answer for that squealing sound:
"That squealing sound for your freestar is coming from the brakes it self, but theres nothing wrong with the brakes. You know where the brake pads sits, there are four clips on each pads that holds them, usually a silver metal clip, sometimes that thing will get loosen or pushed inside touching the rotor when running after a long hour drive. You just need that clips tighten up or change it with a new ones. I fixed mine too and squealing is gone"

My 2007 ford Freestar squeals every time I accelerate

sounds like it may be nothing more than a lose belt. have a mechanic check the belt tension. You can check the tension yourself by pressing down on each belt with the engine off. If the belt moves more than an inch or so it should be tightened. Only other explanation would be a transmission slip.

Rear brake Squeal-problem began after brake pad replacement

It could be a number of things.
the pads settling in.

The anti squeal retainer not put back on.
Take apart and have a look.
Also put a little copper grease on back of pad.

Squealing noise

sounds like a belt or a pull that the belt rides on . you should spray belt dressing on the belt and see if it stops squealing . you can it at you local parts store

High pitched squeal on new brakes

Break squeal can be stopped by applying shims or anti-squeal compound to the pads.

Hyundai elantra 2006 Squealling but stops when applying breaks.

Easiest way first.....if the belt is squealing (at idle), spray it with belt dressing or WD-40.....if it stops....may be the belt or the bearings in the alternator....if it continues only with driving.....brake wear indicator letting you know...brake job due!

Please let me know if this helps!!!

05 freestar LOUD Squealing from the front

or if the brakes are shimmed, a shim got bent during the brake replacement. i can't see why a bearing would be going in a fairly new car without some really hard driving, same for the axle(s)/ cv joints.
