SOURCE: car has no spark or injector pulse(new ecm, crank sensor)

Check the fuse for the injectors, some vehicles have the injectors and coil running on the same circut, at the same time check the fuse for the ignition.

SOURCE: 1997 Dodge Intrepid cranks over won't fire

I have this same NO START problem...
Began with tach giving readings not exceding 1200 rpm with strange 4000 + spikes.. Cruse control would not turn on or off at times and indicator light would only work sometimes..Had several episodes of excessive cranking to get it to start.. Stalling out while driving and even at freeway speeds.. Pulling the negative cable for 10 min. allowed it to start although with lots of cranking and put it in limp mode which required another computer reset to get out of.. Had thrown error codes related to cam and crank sensors which were replaced along with coil and manifold temp sensors.. Had the 9 volt power to sensors when key was on but the check engine light does not stay on with all the other idiot lights..
I wish people who respond would read the post first..
Original post states,
Cranks,No spark,No fuel pump run, changed some sensors ect...
If it cranks it ain't the neutral safety switch, starter or battery!! WAKE UP!!
Seems the computer is not turning on the coil, injectors or fuel pump for a reason.. Find that reason and you will find the solution to the problem.. Seeing as that the computers logic states are a dealer secrete the poster as I have changed many parts in blind hope that it will fix the problem.. Relays, sensors and ecu computer.. Did a visual check of all harness potential wear spots like where it crosses over the power rack..
Could it be in the wiring harness inside the dash??
Could it be a bad ground??
Can an alternator that has failed cause the computer not to start??
Can a bad oil pressure sensor cause the computer not to start??
Can signal loss from the TCU or BCU to the ECU cause this??
Is there an undocumented kill if the ECU thinks it was in an accident??
I can ground the relay line from the ECU and the fuel pump runs and pressures up and the other relays turn on as well..
This crank but no start problem seems to be common with a lot of 1994-2001 Dodge and Chrysler owners.. All these systems have become interlaced with undocumented safety features that baffle the DIYer..If you have seen this and have fixed it PLEASE RESPOND!!!!

SOURCE: po202 code engine idles rough,

DTC P0202 injector #2 control circuit.

fuel injector operation is monitored when battery voltage is more then 10.4 volts, auto shutdown relay (ASD) is energized, fuel injector pulse width is less then 10 milliseconds and engine speed is less then 3000RPM. DTC maybe stored in power train control module (PCM) when no inductive impulse is sensed after fuel injector turns off with no other fuel injectors turned on.

possible causes are:

defective fuel injector

defective ASD relay circuit

defective PCM

defective connectors or wiring

if you are getting injector pulse, the the PCM and wiring and ASD are ok ( get a noid light and plug into injector wiring plug in crank engine light should flash

if you have a flashing noid light REPLACE INJECTOR

2004 Grand Cherokee (4.0)intermittent #1 cyl misfire and #1 injector control circuit fault (3 wks). Problem began after changing spark plugs. Replaced: coil pack, 6 injectors, & Bank #1-#2 O2 sensors.

I worked on one with the same issue. Ended up being the harness burned at the rear of the engine on the exhaust. Burned wires going to coil pack and shorted when I moved the wires to the coil packs.

Check the ASD relay in under hood fuse/ relay box. ASD stands for automatic shut down relay. Powers up pcm ,fuel injectors and ignition system an O2sensor heaters .crank over the car an check for power at O2sensor heater fuse in the underhood fuse box ,no power means bad relay !

2002 tahoe check engine light #8 misfire code

Fuel injectors only receive power on one wire. The other wire is grounded by the PCM. That's what fires the injector. If could be the PCM, but most of the time it's a cam or crank sensor.

I have a 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE with a 3.3 liter V6 Engine. It hasn't been firing on the 6th and 3rd spark plugs, and is only running off of 4 of them. I was told to replace the camshaft position...

The coil pack unit's circuit #3 drives plugs #3 and #6 directly from the PCM. If the cam sensor was defective, it should not fire any plugs. Suspect bad wiring from the PCM to the coil pack, the PCM unit itself, or a segment of the camshaft position sensor surface has lost magnetism causing missing signal to the PCM. An oscilloscope is the best test instrument for chasing down a missing pulse problem. The missing timing signal also explains why the PCM would report a 'bad camshaft sensor'. Hope this helps!

Engine runs very rough

if is runnig the PCM is not the problem, change the coil pack or the crancshaft position sensor.
the PCM is very expensive(500+) but they hardly go bad. PCM(power control mudule)

one more thing, have you tried the spark plug wires?

1999 dodge caravan new pcm new crank and cam sensor new coil pack new flexplate still no spark, scannner show sync problem, any ideas

If you have replace new cam sensor with no sparks and the coil are good putting out 12 volt, my guess would be the computer it self faulty. cam sensor sense the cam turning and send info to computer telling computer to disperse the charge from the coil pack to the plugs assuming relay, cam sensor, coil, plugs, and wires are good. make sure the cam sensor is put in properly and position.

95 maxima rough idle

The injector could definitely trigger a misfire code, but you also mentioned that you had a mass airflow sensor code , that code code be responsible for te sluggish moment of the vehicle and rpm going up and down. However if you have a misfire onCyl#6 and the coil and the plug is good the ONLY other thing to cause a mis-fire would be the injector. To check the injector get a NOID light, you can get one at almost any auto-parts place. To use unplug injector plug from the bad injector and connect it to NOID light the light should have a steady PULSE/ligt flickering. If light flickers fine then injector is bad and will need to be replaced. If light doesn't flicker or flickers intermittently then you may have a bad wiring to that injector. Check if wiring is good, then you may have a bad cam sensor or sensor gear. Good Luck and contact if you need more help. Thanks for using FIX YA
