Windscreen washer pump failed all of a sudden,if you give direct feed to pump it works,if you press the stalk the wipers operate but pump doesn't work,can not locate fuse for pump,checked the fuses in fuse box in engine bay and behind glove box,none of them indicate a fuse for washer pump.

under the bonnet it should be near the back from the washers you will see a plastic hose follow that back and you will find the pump

the lighter socket run on the same fuse as interear light witch will be staited on the fuse box lid. however lighter sockets are comon for fault becaus they get so hot so you may need to replace it. hope this helps

Isimply put a new fuse box in the car, and check all the electric wire .

First check the fuse if one. chances are the motor is locked up.

It sounds as though their is a short, loose connections, or the water punps for these are out.
Inquire with a technician for diagnostic options.
