1997 Nissan 200sx. When I am driving it the right front wheel will **** and vibrate. It only happens periodically but when it does the car vibrates and it feels like the wheel is going to seize or come off. I've checked the tie rods, sway bar, cvg joint etc. but all seems to be ok and tight. I'll be driving along and suddenly it jerks and vibrates for a short time then starts again.

SOURCE: Front End noise and vibration

Check the U-joints and axle baerings. But its most likely because the truck is in four wheel drive.

SOURCE: 2004 camry, vibration right front

If the wheel is in balance and there is no other signs of what is causing the vibration than yes that cv joint should be chk. Is the strut ok? might want to chk. that too.

SOURCE: Car jerks to left w/no warning

My opinion, not a good car. But that is a different story. It would be easiest to bring the car in for an alignment. The technician will tell you what the car needs to do the alignment. But if you want to do it yourself then you will need to inspect all the steering componants (tie-rods,struts, lower ball joint, wheel bearings, brakes, wheels, tire wear, tread pattern, and tire pressure, and lug nuts (loose or overtightened). Good luck.

SOURCE: steering wheel vibration

Did they "turn" your rotors? They may have "improperly" turned your front rotors. This is common and they should correct this where you had the work done.

check with a drive line specialist shop as some manufacturers fit a balance to the shafts to stop vibration
have them check the cv joints while you are there

1997 Nissan 200sx. Wheel vibration

jack the car up and give the see if the wheel has any movement left to right or top to bottom. If there is no movememnt then your cv joint is ok and tie rod is good. is the a noise when you make a tight turn left or right , it maybe a wheel bearing. Also you have checked the nuts on the wheel itself are all tight?

1988 Nissan 200sx: The speedometer, techometer, and odometer do not work at all. What are the possible problems and how much would it cost to repair them personally?

This is a common problem. All of these work from a printed circuit board. With vibration and age they will eventually get a short in the board. No one repairs them just replace the instrument cluster. Requires removing the front of the dash to remove it.
