I recently bought a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II. None of the wahers work: windscreen, headlights, or back window. Switch seems good because it activates the wiper. What do you think?

My late mother worked at the Land Rover plant in Solihull and put careful miles on a Disco when it was known as the 'J Car'. Also the first Vogue with a turbo. Long time ago!
Hi welcome main problems are the abs valves causing the 3 dash lights (search 3 amigos online) a really badly sited compressor can cause air suspension models to fail giving the bags a slow leak the V8 is a solid engine but can have radiator expansion tank and cap failures
the other issue is electrics windows and door looms are problematic
I own a landrover disco 2 and even without problems it only gets about 8mpg.Try giving it a complete tune up.If it's a 4.0 like mine the upper left intake has to be removed to change the plug wires.DIY will run you about 150$ just to change the plug wires with a new Upper Intake gasket!
it is located in the interior rearward facing mirror,it is a little black spot you can just see through the windscreen(when it goes wrong,it is too expensive to replace, live without.)
The code P1451 on a Land Rover is "Leakage Detection Module Motor power stage error Drive cycle A:Signal out
of range - above maximum". This is an OBD-II diagnostic system code. As far as I know, a 1995 Land Rover Discovery does not use a OBD-II system. Is it possible that this rover is a later model year
I have responded to this problem in the past. 2001 discos had an ACE (Active Cornering Enhancement) option. ACE vehicles had an additional hydraulic pump for the system therefore ACE vs Non_ACE cars require different belts.
