How do you know the bulb is good? Even if it uses the same bulb as the tail light it is always a different filiment. But if you tried replacing the bulb and the fuse than it has to be the wiring. If it's a 2008 it should be covered by the warranty, I would bring it into the dealer.
before you change fuse check your bulbs ,inside the fuse panel is a little tool that looks like tweezers the panel should have a diagram of which fuse is which good luck
Did you replace the correct lights? are you positive they were the brake lights? There is a little tester you can buy that you pust against the fuse if it is good a light on the tester lights up green. You can get them at almost any automotive store.
