The cam angle sensors are part of the electronic ignition system inside the distributor, have you checked the ht lead from coil to dizzy cap, also check to make sure all earth bonds on car are ok

SOURCE: car has no spark or injector pulse(new ecm, crank sensor)

Check the fuse for the injectors, some vehicles have the injectors and coil running on the same circut, at the same time check the fuse for the ignition.

SOURCE: 98 Dodge Dakota "pick up coil" cam position sensor repeat failure

Honestly? Cruddy parts.

I have a Dodge Stratus....97....same thing here. Unfortunately, shoddy parts, even from the dealership. I think the best thing is to keep a fresh one on hand. I know that the wiring is garbage too due to how the harness curls up to the sensor. Not much to tell you on this one.

SOURCE: 2002 lincoln ls camshaft sensor..

The cam sensor and the cranksensor work together to keep the engine in time,so the cam sensor can`t be ruled out.But check the knock sensor,or better yet replace it,knock sensors sometimes will not set a code.If they are not working,or not pluged up,they will give those symptoms.

1995 Dodge 2500 van no ignition

I have the same issue on a 94 B250 - replaced ECM, cam and crank sensors - still only coil primary with initial relay cycle, then nothing during crank. Was told ECM needs signal from cam and crank to send primary to coil. Very confusing - all wires connected.

Will not start , turns over.

the only thing i can tell you is to check for spark at the coil wire and what i do is give it a shot of either in the intake and see if it trys to run if it does run then you have fuel problem maybe pump ?

Car wont start

being 94' im sure it has high miles, cam and crank sensor common to fail over time do to wear and heat exposure. check the basic, make sure you getting fuel and sparks. fuel pump only work as long the engine is turning over due to the crank sensor sense the flywheel turning. crank sensor may be faulty. no sparks, check coil make sure is good and putting out 12v, auto zone can test it for free. good coil, than check cam sensor, cam sensor senses the cam turning and tell the ecu to tell the coil to disperse the sparks to the plugs. cam and crank sensors, there no way of testing it but replacing the unit unless you have the special equipment to test it; both is fairly cheap to replace, check ebay.

No Spark

There can be a couple of causes for no spark.
Common problem - Ignition unit in distributor has failed - Replace distributor.
Common problem - Coil failure - Replace coil.
Common Problem - Stuck ECU relay - indicated by no pulsing of injectors and no spark - replace relay.
