It depends on the window giving you trouble. If its the driver front, check for power going to it. If its one of the other windows, will it work if you use the switch on that door? Will it work from the drivers switch? If neather switch works thereis a good chance you have a broken wire in the drivers door. It is commen for the wires to break where they come out of the drivers door and go into the A piller. (where the door bolts to). There in not a inline fuse or relay. The only fuse for the windows is under the dash. Check to see if there is more then one fuse for the windows also......

Also Try turning on the key without starting the car and try the switch. If the dash lights get a little dimmer when you hit the switch, that means your getting power to the window motor. If this happens you might need a new window regulator....

Where are the fuse and relays for a 2001 Nissan

Relays are located in many places on vehicles. You would have to know what relay in particular you were looking for to find it's exact location. Fuses are easy to find, they are in the compartment right in front of your left knee on the lower section of the front of the dash, the drivers side of the dash between the door and the dash or sometimes under the hood. There is a door that pulls off to reveal the fuses, the door will have a diagram of the fuse locations. Here is a link from the internet with more information. I have a 2000 Nissan Altima GXE, have changed altenator and left battery unhooked for 24 hrs. Now I can not keep car running, donot have inside working lights or anything to do with the power system...

the battery should be dead by the way you describe it...so just jump start the car from another car...if that doesn't work then you might need a new battery if the battery is too old...like 4-5 years old...
Good Luck!

HVAC Blower functions only at highest (4) switch setting

if the blower works on high then its not a fuse it could be the switch or the resistor that cuts back power for the lower settings
