I have a 97 Bonneville, you have to undo the passenger side engine mount. No joke.

these motors have two carrier pulleys and oone tensioner. lookinjg at the motor from the rightside of car the belt goes as follaws: crank pully to super charger from the left. the right side goes up to the lower carrier which will have the flat of the belt riding on it. from there the belt routes to the upper carrier
[ loop it over so the grooves ride
] and then under the tensioner any questions contact [email protected]

I looked at 3.8L engine. If this isn't what you have, let us know. I saw two diagrams, it was probably with and w/o supercharger.

Serpentine belt on a 3800 supercharger

there should be a decal under the hood somewhere that shows the belt routing. if its gone you can probably go to the library and find a book of your car that will show the routing and you can either draw a picture or take a photo of it.

I need a diagram for a serpentine belt routing for a 2000 pontiac bonneville sle

You probably have it fixed by now, but you should have a 3.8L V6 (no supercharger).
The belt routing should be the same as my Impala 3.8L.

I have a 91 pontiac 6000, I replaced the alternator and now I cant put the belt back on, I need a diagram of it

Hi,

you need a Belt Tensioner Serpentine Tool, to lift the Arm and replace the Belt,
disconnect negative Battery Cable, first!

connect Serpentine Belt, starting at bottom crankshaft, work belt, up the belt rotates toward, Radiator , so the Belt, goes under the Water Pump, and under the Belt Tensioner.
