Water in the gas and Heet has not totally fixed the problem but did help a lot. Should I add another bottle?

You have done a lot...how about the fuel injectors...and bad/old gas in the tank...has your car been parked for awhile? I would add 2 bottles of liquid HEET to disolve the sludge...and add 2 bottles of gas tank fuel injector cleaner...I like the Lucas Oil

If it has sat and not run for awhile...the fuel could be dirty...add a bottle of HEET to help eliminate any water build up...also add a bottle of fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank...may need 2 bottles...last check would be the control module for a spark test...

Many small things can cause this...dirty fuel, water in tank, fuel pressure regulator going bad, air filter clogged, throttle body dirty, clogged catalytic converter. First try fuel injector gas tank and line cleaner...least costly...use 2 bottles of STP concentrated injector cleaner...also add a bottle of liquid heet...to absorb any excess water or sludge in tank...worst cause could be low fuel pressure caused by bad fuel pump...Hope this helps.

there are many things it could be the first step is to try a bottle of Heet it is avalable at any local auto parts store... Heet is a water remover a little water in the gas can cause that to happen. Next step (if that dosent work) is your catyliac converter might be clogged not allowing exaust to escape out the tail pipe. another issue could be a defective fuel preassure regulator and/or dirty injectors try the heet first it is only 2 or 3 dollars a bottle and it cant hurt to use it {{{{{{{ read all directions on bottle before use}}}}}}}}

I would suggest buying a product that you add to your gas when you fill up such as HEET.
It cleans your fuel system including your fuel injectors.
Just add it to a full tank of gas either before or after you fill up. One bottle treats up to 20 gallons of gasoline.

was the car running fine, before you put the new gas in the car, if the answer is yes, then , i would say , there is a chance that you could have got some water in your gas where ever you got it. " sometimes at gas stations, when the fuel runs low in their under ground tanks, they sweat and draw moisture, and then when a person pumps the gas , the water/ moisture goes into the customers gas tank, i would put 1-2 bottles of heet, into the gas tank to remove the water, that is if this is the case, after you do this, hope fully the engine will run fine, if it does not, then i would have someone to hook up a code tester, to the aldl link, to see what trouble codes have ben picked up by the computer, hopefully the problem will go away with the heet installed, hope that this information has helped you. you can buy the heet at walmart , or at a auto part store. p.s. try 1 bottle of heet first, and then if you need to add the 2nd bottle then you can, but see how it runs on only 1 bottle of heet first.

May not be the fuel,but it would not be a bad idea to treat it as such.The NAPA auto parts sells two additives that are really good products,one is lucas fuel treatment for contaminated fuels.The other one is HEET,for water contamination.I would put a full bottle of LUCAS,and two bottles of heet.Put full bottles in for full tank or less.The additives work best with less fuel,so they will work in a consitrated level.If the additives are added soon,they will save the injectors.Bad fuel has been known to damage injectors so much as they have to be replaced.So if I can help,let me know.

TIMING OR BURNT VALVE! COULD ALSO BE WATER IN GAS , TRY A BOTTLE OF HEET SOLD AT AUTOZONE AND ADD TO YOUR NEXT FILL UP. ALSO RUN A TANK OF PREMIUM UNLEADED THROUGH IT FOR A GOOD OCTANE BOOST TO HELP WITH THE BURNING OF THE WATER FROM YOUR TANK. HOPE THIS HELPS!
