I have had this happen many times check for pulse to crank sensor if new sensor and no pulse the most likly problem is the pully. it seams to get magnetfied and won.t allow pulse go to the junk yard and get another one and pop it on it's a cheap fix and usually is the prob.

Replace ignition module. Engine computer is related only to the fuel injectors. Spark is only controlled by ignition module. Make sure that you replaced the prom chip inside the computer when you did your switch as well.

Won't start but engine is crank my jeep model 1993 fuel gasoline

Make sure that when you turn the ignition key on that you see the check engine light does light up on the dash, before you try cranking the engine. If no check engine light is on, the jeep won't start. If the check engine light is on and it still won't start then it could be your crank sensor, fuel pump or a host of other problems not allowing it to start.

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee No Start

I would be thinking that there is a good chance that you need to be checking out replacing the computer, if you aren't getting any communication with the proper scan tool then the computer isn't communicating with anything in the vehicle...... I would have guessed first off that the ignition control module might be bad but that is obviously part of the computer also, I would be looking in that direction.
