Buick Lesaber, Lower then 1800rpm most time runs fine, Once in while surges high rpm's like driving fast 1900 & above rpm bucks /2100 smooth's out.

Need to take to a shop with a GM tech 2 or higher scan tool. These tools can actually display various sensor readings and voltages in real time and can be used while driving the car to recreate the issue. These are super expensive scan tools so most shops don't have them. Call around or bite the bullet and have a dealer do it. The money you spend on a correct diagnosis will be saved by not throwing random parts at it based on guess work.

97 lumina, 3.1. Starts runs smooth, drive for 30

I just recently have been fighting the same problem with the same make/model/year vehicle. For myself, I would drive off and on through the day and it would run fine. Then suddenly after a start it would run rough and die. I would have to wait 20 to 60 mins before it would start again. I had it checked and fuel pump was only putting out around 19 psi. It should be around 41 psi. Had fuel pump replaced and no more problems. Furthermore, now it runs so much better. It's funny how over time I didn't notice how the performance was slowly degrading. Unfortunaley fuel pumps for this car run around $300.

Car stalls when coming to a slow dow or stoping

If your check engine is not on, check for a vacuum leak by listening for hissing; check your pcv valve (replace it for 3 dollars if you don"t know how to check); check egr valve for clogging and proper function.

Have a 96 camry 4 cyl auto. After highway driving, the idle becomes rough and wants to stall. The problem eventually goes away after driving a city speeds. Around town, it runs all day just fine. Help ,...

Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls and low idle, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve and throttle valve, they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

Possible loss of voltage to coil and plugs

i had this or similar sounding issue with my robin trike, after lots of messing about it was found to be a loose alternator not generating enough charge to keep the battery topped up. I imagine the drive round the block used quite a bit of your battery (30 amps approx just to start it) thats when i got my stalling and sluggish responce, not enough power to fireup the plugs 100% run a volt meter on the alternator and the battery
