1995 Town Car cruise control dont work

I replaced the clock spring and the dealer replaced the speed control sensor (for a recall), Seems like there is no power, I replaced the clock spring because the horn didn't work and the air bag light was on. Horn works and air bag light is off. There are controls on the steering wheel for the climate control (fan and temp) they don't work either. I checked all the fuses under the dash all are good. any Ideas?

SOURCE: the steering wheel controls ie. cruise/radio/temp

In most cases this problem is caused by the rotating ribbon circuit contact under the steering wheel having a broken filament, the part is known as a clock spring contact, u will need to properly disarm the airbag and remove the steering wheel to access the part. WARNING: Failure to follow factory Airbag disarming protocol can result in an unexpected Airbag deployment and possible serious personnel injury or death.

SOURCE: My cruise control doesn't work??...any

jnjkingbird, It sounds like this problem is the clock spring as I don't believe that the horn and the cruise control would share a fuse. However, they do share a circuit in the clock-spring. You can check for power at each unit (horn and the cruise control) which would confirm this. Check each fuse as well. Good luck with this.

SOURCE: Hello, I took my 2002 Lincoln LS to the Ford

The speed sensor is found on the wheel hub. It is the only part which has wires connected to it. Usually you would see hoses for the brakes in that area.

For additional information, I have managed to get a video.

The horn dont work air bag light on and cruise control dont work please help

You don't say what year and kind of Chrysler you have but the problem is probably the clock spring under the steering wheel. If it's a Town and Country it may be covered by a recall. You would have to check with a dealer.

Cruise Control works on vacuum. I would check all vacuum lines that run to the CC and see if any are cracked and leaking before i did anything else

The airbag sensor light comes on when I start the car. When this began, it caused the front heat and a/c to stop working, as well as the horn and cruise control. What can I do to fix it on my own?

the air bag light didn't cause the other things to fail,it was just the first thing you saw that told you there is a problem, you need to take it to a dealer and have them check the clock spring and other components

Cruise control

There are several things that could cause this. Brake pressure switch, brake light switch, cruise control button/s,cable,amplifier, or a loss of VSS(vehicle speed signal).
There is a recall open on the wiring to the brake pressure switch and the brake pressure switch itself if it is leaking brake fluid from it. If you haven't had this checked you can go to this website:
http://www.genuineservice.com/genuineservice/en/default?page=genuineService
Pick recalls from the left task bar and input your VIN number and it will tell you if this recall is open on your vehicle. I would have this checked first.

I have a 2000 town and country and my horn and cruise control does not work i think its a relay but i 'm not sure can someone pleaseive me an idea of whats wrong?

There is a recall on something callad a clock spring for this problem. Your local dealer can tell you if your van has the recall all they need is your vin number. If it does it wont cost you anything.
