I ended up removing the regulator, replacing the window in its track and ordering a replacement regulator.
the information provided by FixYa was helpful in getting the window back in place but the main issue was 'restringing the cables' on the regulator - apparently difficult if not impossible to do, therefore the necessity to order the new part.

Driver side blows hot air while passenger side blows cold air

You need to replace the driver side temperature blend door actuator , electric motor that controls the temp .The instrument panel may need to be pulled out to replace it . You may want to take it to a qualified repair shop . As far as the rear blower motor , the motor could be bad or the auxiliary blower relay module , or the blower motor relay could be the problem . Without knowing component position in the vehicle you have a difficult time tracking down these parts .

How do i replace rear passenger window

Did they break the larger window? or the smaller one?
The larger one is the easy one, remove the door panel, adjust the window mechanism until you can see the bolts on the bottom window track, undo these bolts and remove the old track, To fit the new window it's simply a matter of removing the side window guide rail and sliding the window in on an angle and wiggle it around until you get it inside the door, the seat it in the rail and replace the guide rail. Then bolt the window to the mechanism and re-assemble the door panel.

If it's the smaller one you need to remove the larger window first then remove the frame between the smaller and larger piece of glass, You can then replace the glass.

I would suggest calling around and you may get a good price for an expert to replace it as it is a pain to do.

Driver side window ***** and gets stuck when going up

1st try this get a can of Silicone spray lubricant, cover any exposed surfaces and carefully spray lube (shake can before spraying) into the window felt tracks in the front and rear of the glass until it runs out the bottom of the door, run the window up and down a number of times to distribute the lube. This should ease the effort required to roll the window up, if it doesn't cure the problem you will need to replace all the glass guides.

2002 Jeep Cherokee Rear Passenger Side Window Slides down with no

i CAREFULLY REMOVED THE PANEL, THE SPEAKER, TAKING PHOTOS ALONG THE WAY (INCLUDING PHOTOS INSIDE THE DOOR WHERE I COULD NOT SEE), AND EVENTUALLY REMOVED THE TRACK WITH THE MOTOR AND CABLE. i FOUND THE PLASTIC MOUNT FOR THE UPPER CABLE BROKEN. AFTER MUCH STUDYING I FOUND THE CABLE SNAGGED ON THE REEL. I CLEARED THE SNAG AND LUBED THE REEL. I DRILLED A HOLE TO ACCEPT THE CABLE END AT ABOUT THE RIGHT DISTANCE , INSERTED A SCREW AND EPOXIED THE SCREW AND END IN POSITION, I HUNG THE ASSEMBLY ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR , PLUGGED THE SWITCH IN AND TURNED THE CAR ON -- THE TRACK WORKED PERFECT. I REPLACED ALL COMPONENTS, ATTACHED THE WINDOW, REPLACED THE PLASTIC REATTACHED THE LINKAGES TO THE LOCK AND DOOR OPENER. WORKS GREAT. SAVED SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR THE COST OF A COUPLE OF HOURS AND A SCREW AND JB WELD EPOXY.MEMBRANE, REINSTALLEED THE SPEAKER, 8f290b9.jpg2679bfa.jpgf4a65ed.jpg

Rear window slipping down about 1 inch, but still on the track.

The Regulator will fix the problem. The tracks might also need a little adjustment.(loosen bolts move track then retighten) Try holding the window while you are rasing it you might be able to guide it up so that it will close a bit more.
