There are 2 fuse boxes in the Prius, one under the hood and the other under the steering wheel. As best I know, there is no fuse box in the "door panel", and I have never had anyone tell me so.

I looked in the fuse box under the hood and descriptions are very criptic.I hate to pull every fuse to see which one blew. I have not located any fuses inside. I'll look further

Check if you can gently prise the cigarette lighter assembly out of its location in the dashboard, or remove any panel that may allow access to the rear of the cigarette lighter and look for the fuse (it may be an in-line one in the power lead to the cigarette lighter or it may be physically attached to the cigarette lighter itself). Failing that, the fusebox is normally under the dashboard on the driver side, but some fuseboxes can be found under the dashboard on the passenger side. The fuse for the cigarette lighter/auxillary power is located in the under hood fuse/relay block. It is a 20 amp ATM (mini) fuse. It is fuse #34 and is yellow. The location will be shown on the underside of the fuse box cover. Look along the drivers and passenger side inner fender areas for the fuse box.
