I believe the 4x4 control module is under the dash by the passanger side and can be seen by looking down there without removing anything. I think removing the glove box helps with installing the module. But I'm not sure I know what I'm talking about. I'm still looking for an answer to the issue. Do you mean the elect. control module if so it is behind the radio youll will need the radio tools to take the radio out they can be found at most any parts stores.

the module is located behind the dash just to the left of the radio. remove the two screws below the radio and the dash panel snaps out and you can access the module
