SOURCE: Have a 2007 Pontiac G5 and need to add power steering fluid.

its tricky. its behind the engine. If you pop the hood and you go to the left side, look behind the block and it chould be about half way down or so. You should see the cap for it. I think that was a horrible idea on pontiacs part. Happy motoring!

SOURCE: The power steering light is on in my 2007 Pontiac G5 Coupe

  • You have Electric Power Steering (EPS) not the traditional power steering pump. So there is no place to put power steering fluid in your vehicle.

  • Hope this helps.

How do you change the thermostat in a 2007 pontiac g5

The G 5 has electric power steering, there is no power steering fluid. Try getting your strut bearings replaced, they may be sized, making it hard to turn the wheel.

2009 Pontiac G5 won't shut off. Key will not turn.

The pontiac G5 has a defect on some of them that need a new ignition switch. I just had to get mine replaced because mine did the exact same thing. If you remove the fuse it will not fix the problem!

I have a 2007 Pontiac G5 and the power steering started to fail gradually until now that it does it after driving the car on a stray line for a few seconds, if I turn the driving wheel left and right...

Keep in Mind that WITH NO POWER STEERING AT ALL The Faster you Drive the EASYER it is to Stear Lft & Rght. Having Said that If your Car is Hard to Steer While Sitting in PARK and Turning the Steering Wheel Left AND Right , This Sounds as if your Power Steering Pump Is Bad for1 and it May have Contaminated The STEERING RACK , this is A MAIN Component in the Steering System.
