How do I reset this abs light and why is it stuck on?

Thank you for your response it was very appreciated. Do you think possibley it could be the brakes needing to be bleed or an air bubble?

The only way to find out whats causing the light to come on, is to have an abs code scanner hooked up to it,it will pin point the problem.After the problem is fixed, the light will go out, or erase the code with the scanner.

Reset for what? If the check engine light is on, you have to buy or borrow a scan tool, and reset it that way, or you can disconnect the battery for 1-2 minutes, and reconnect it.

2001 Suburban ABS motor staying on after ignition is off

what you have is a ABS module that has shorted out internally. you have to replace that module and then bleed the ABS pump AND the brakes at all wheels.

Suburban stuck in PARK

I accidently posted under 2004 Envoy - actually a 1997 Chevy Suburban. Found the switch on the brake actuator rod, sprayed with WD 40 (sloppy - hit or miss) - and moved the switch around. Now works fine. If I could find a way to remove the switch, I would replace. I may find the wires for the power and release servo and jump those out with a remote switch in case of future problems.
