No power to starter solenoid for 96 mercury villager 3.0

SOURCE: 95 Mercury Villager will not start

check/replace the starter relay switch in the relay box under the hood. The relay box is located on the front right of the engine compartment. easy fix, inexpensive part if that is the problem.

really any kind is usable but if you have been using synthetic then stay with that but its old enough that you can use just regular ATF. If you want to get the exact type call or go into your local auto part store and they should be able to tell you.

I would recommend purchasing the Haynes service manual for your vehicle. We have one in each of ours and it will answer most all of your questions and let you estimate how much a given repair will cost for labor too if you are not planning on doing your own maintenance.
