SOURCE: Transmission fluid leak where it joins onto the

Sounds to be the front pump seal on the trans. Yes, the seal can be replaced but the trans must come out, engine stays.. Remove the torque converter with the trans. and make sure they are properly coupled when reinstalling. Good Luck Ned. I Live in Mira Loma if you neeed coacjhing.

NO POWER STEERING with leak could it be the rack the leak is in the center below the the motor

Yes, that is where the rack is. But if it is a hose or hose fitting that is leaking, it is not as bad as the rack itself leaking. Big expense there, replacing a rack and pinion gear assembly. Where you see the leaking fluid would be about where the PS hoses connect to the rack, so you should have it looked at to really know how bad it is.

2003 Porsche Carrera 4 will not go into any gear with motor running. With the engine off I can shift through the gears just fine. It feels like the clutch is not fully disengaged.

You can test the clutch hypothesis. Carefully put the car in gear for a safe direction, then depress the clutch and turn over the engine. If the car lurches, then the clutch is not working. In this case, check the linkage to the clutch, or if yours is hydraulic, check the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder. If the cylinder is low, then don't stop by just filling it, you want to find out where the fluid went. Look for leaks - especially around the clutch slave cylinder.
If on the other hand your engine it starts with the transmission in gear and the clutch down without lurching, then try letting the clutch out slowly. With any luck you have it running and in gear. See what happens next. Good Luck!

Car will start but will not go into gear

If the vehicle was running fine before, you've most likely got a transmission fluid leak. Start your car, put it in reverse then drive, then back to reverse and up to park. Leave the vehicle running. Pop the hood and check the transmission fluid, I'm sure you will find it's either low, or you've blown a pressure hose and lost all the fluid. I hope this helps.

oh dear, this is going to be very bad new for you, take it from me the ATM fluid is leaking out of your gearbox, it could be a rear gearbox oil seal, it could be the front gear box oil seal leaking, even the oil cooler or pipes leaking but it is leaking some were, and if its got to be took out to put in a new seal your going to need to sell a kidney or some outher part of you to pay for it, if you can put up with the leak just keep filling up your ATF fluid dont let the gearbox run dry or its realy going to cost you, as it will seize up on you and burn its self out, thats a new gear box then??? costly very costly! if its only a little bit of oil leaking give the motor a good wash down with a power hose under it and fill the atf up go for a drive say 10 miles then look under it, look for fresh oil (ie:red oil) around the gearbox at both ends of it, if you see any that is proof its leaking bad!!! park it over a sheet of paper over night will show how much it leaks too, i would put up with it as long as pos bet if its due for an MOT give it a realy good power wash down first to get rid of any oil, a little leak will still pass, a big un, wont! any oil seal can just fail on you like this one has but they fail much faster if they get over heated due to lack of oil in them
sorry for the bad news, think of selling the kids to pay for a new gearbox,, now there's an idear?

Started to take off from a stop and the car just quit pulling. The motor is running fine, the car just will not move when put in gear.

First thing is to check the transmission fluid. Check the level and see if it is dark or smells burned. If the level is fine, but the fluid is in bad shape, you'll need at least a fluid change. If the level is low, adding some might fix it, but you'll want to keep an eye on the level, in case you have a leak somewhere.

The clutch fluid is leaking on my truck and it won't go into gear right.

You need to fix the Leak in your hydraulic system to your clutch on your transmission. The reason that your transmission is not going  in to gear right is that the fluid is to low to push the throw out bearing to disengage the clutch fully.
Once the fluid get's too low, you'll not be able to disengage the clutch to put it in to gear or change gear.
Check the fluid level to your hydraulic clutch reservoir and fill to the right level and fix the leak in the hydraulic lines.
Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted, glad to help.
