2005 Buick LeSabre heated seat not working

I press the button for heated seat and its makes clicking noise, and control shows it's on the high heat position, but there is no heat.
Normally, I don't hear the clicking noise when I change from on/off/low/high heat. i have a 1999 oldsmobile aurora. the passenger heated seat light works, but the seat produces no heat. There is also a clicking noise every 20 seconds or so, only when the heated seat is turned on. Tried changing fuses, but that didnt change anything. Any ideas...

The heated seats have relays that run them. Not quite sure where they are located but. That noise is the relay clicking on and off. They are actually pretty loud. Look for faulty connections to and from the relay and check battery power to both sides of the relay.

I have a 2001 Buick Lesabre Limited and drivers side heated seat won't shut off without turning off the ignition. Could it be the under seat relay?

Could be the relay but you need to unplug the relay and make a pin out check ground ,current ,and command. to see if relay is not stuck close circuit

On my buick lesabre limited 2001, the passenger side a/c and heat is not working.

NOT WORKING MEANS. NO AIR FLOW? OR TEMPERATURE? SOUNDS LIKE A BLEND DOOR ISSUE. IF YOU MOVE THE MODE CONTROL ON THE DASH TO A DIFFERENT POSITION DOES ANYTHING CHANGE. IF YOU HEAR A CLICKING OR POPPING NOISE THE PLASTIC ARM ON THE BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR IS BROKEN.

make sure you dont have a vacuum line off under the hood, going into the firewall, or to a control valve that shuts off the hot water to the heater

your owners manual will identify the fuse to check. If you don't have the manual, you can get one online at gm. If the fuse is good, check the blower connection for water/corrosion. If connector looks good, check it for voltage from the switch. If voltage is getting to the motor, replace the motor.

Heated seat doesn't work

check the fuses first and then have the element tested to see if it has any current going to it

Heated Seats

I had the same problem on my 04 LeSabre. To check to see whether it was the element or the switch, I unplugged both seats and ran jumper wires to make left switch control the right element. The switch and element worked properly. Then I ran jumper wires to make right switch control the left element. The problem was the same, so it was the element was bad.

I had my element replaced at the dealership, since I didn't want to wreck my leather seats. It cost over $400 (about $150 for the element). I guess it just tucks next to the old element - the old element stays in place.

Drivers heated seat won' work

Probably a fuse!
Under the dash on the drivers side or under the hood.
New cars have them labeled right at the fuses not in the manual!
Hope this is helpful.

Good Luck!

Buick Lesabre Heated Seats not working

The problem is most likely caused by shorted heating grids in the seat cushion itself, kind of like the heating element in an electric blanket, very expensive to replace.
