No check engine light and has new gascap
It's the damn fittings and lines to fuel pumps common problem faulty parts from Chrysler who do no favors by recalling. All these ppl intentionally put parts in there that will fail to keep their money flowing for repairs God forbid they sell you a car that never has to come back for repairs.
Scan for emission fault then follow the correct diagnostic procedure it may have a large leak in the emissions some where

You may have a faulty gas cap. If you are tightening the cap down securely the light will go off after the car is driven about 40 miles. I suggest installing a new gas cap which should cost about $15 at your local auto parts store. *** Please rate me on this answer.***

take the terminals off the battery, and wait atleast 10 to 20 minutes, to clear the computer memory.then install the negative cable first, then the postive. remove the gas cap to relieve all pressure inside it, then re tighten. turn the key on and off about 2 to 3 time allowing a pause inbetween, then on the third time start it up and letit run till operating temp is reached. this should take care of the problem.

It might take 2 or 3 gas fill-ups before the light goes off. Don't worry.

This is a very common problem witht the Chrysler Pacifica. It is often caused by a crack in a plastic fitting at the top of the fuel pump assembly at the top of the gas tank. The error code thinks the gas cap is not secure but it is an evaporatove leak at top of gas tank caused by a hose in the evap system that was designed too short. You will need a repair shop to install a new gas pump assembly and a longer hose to prevent the problem in the future.
