At startup my 94' F150 will oscillate from high to low idle

During warm or cold mornings when I start my truck the idle will oscillate from high to low rpm's.  During our current cold temps in wisconsin it now cuts out until I start again.  I'm guessing either a vacuum line or a mass air flow sensor or ??????
Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated.

I had this problem once on an econoline van and it was the plantum gasket but before you change this check all the vacuum lines and get a digital volt meter and test the voltages on the mass air flow sensor and if you have to change the plantum gasket auto zone can print you out a diagram stating all you have to remove to replace it

93 monty idles high then dies on cold startup

I would check the idle air control valve. The computer controls idle speed by regulating the amount of air entering the throttle body by using the valve. It could be sticking or failing.
I am assuming you have a 93 Monte Carlo.

94 Yukon cranks but won't start on cold mornings.

I hope I can help you with your question I believe I can first and foremost if you're having trouble starting your car on cold mornings it's probably going to be a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump about to go out you're having symptoms as you described and then whenever you're at 55° things start to warm up and you can start your car okay the filter is so clogged up imagine that look looking like a blood vessel okay when you have a clog in it it doesn't allow the blood to flow freely feel the same way

Truck stalls at startup with cold engine, revs up then starves for fuel, give gas and works ok, once it warms up all is fine, idle, startup,is all good only during a cold start does it stall.

Without having the year, engine displacement (size), or the manufacturer, I will assume this is a ford 6 or 8 cylinder. I would begin by listening for a high pitched sucking sound (vacuum leak) this is a very common condition on ford products. If none is found I would l probably lean towards the Idle Air Bybass Valve which actually controls the idle speed, they are very prone to carbon buildup and failure. If you would like to send me more specific info on the vehicle, I will be glad to give more specific information to help you out.

Car starts poorly during cold mornings. The idle

Sounds like a cold start valve (which is actually an additional injector in the intake to assist in cold starting) If you can get it to your local prts store while the light is on they will read the codes for free and tell you what the car thinks is amiss.

Problem with cold start up 1995 monte carlo v6 3.4

Two items to look at: Throttle position sensor, $45-50. PCV valve, $4-5. Either will, at times, produce problems with idling.

New Subaru, idles up and down (high/low) during cold startup
