They probably wont fix it now that the warrantys are up. Sure they'll fix it if you pay them the $3500. Save the 3500 and put it towards a toyota. I have a 88 Toyota P/U with 156,000 miles. Runs like it just came off the lot brand new. Only thing i've had to do is replace the brake master cylinder

2005 nissan altima , when turning the air on high there is a crackiling noise comfrom the dash board , any idea on what this is ? and how to get rid of it ?

Does it come from the dashboard or more from the passenger side glove box area? Does the noise happen when the interior is very warm and the fan is then turned on? If so, this can be normal as the cooler air will cause flexing of a hot dash board resulting in crackling

No A/C coming out of dash. It works through defrost vents and floor. Heard noise while driving: sounded like it was under dash. Chas.

Replace your blend door and actuator for the blend door and everything will work fine after that. This is a fairly common problem with all fords. The location is behind the glove box.

Why is my a/c blowing hot air?

It sounds like the flapper valve behind the dashboard that diverts the incoming air from outside air to AC cooled air is not working. The cable wire may have come loose. It's located under the right side of the dash. If it's like my 1989 - you can access it by removing the glove box... fairly easy to do, just open the glove box and remove the upper and lower phillips head screws, and gently pull the glove box out and unplug the wiring connector on the left side. Also check to see if the solenoid valve is working when you change from off to heat or cool.

The fan for the air conditioner and heater will not come on for any speed on my 1999 4 cly. jeep wrangler. I've changed the fuse in the fuse box behind the glove box. Is there any other switch/fuse that...

It may be a relay problem. From the controls on the dash it should lead you to the components behind the dashboard. Check if the connections are OK. I am unsure if the relays are found there, but inspect the relay at that area or under the hood.

I am driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala and there is a clicking noise coming from the dash area around the vents. It sounds as if a CD is stuck but there is no disc in the player.

The noise is coming from your blend door motor, you just need to replace it and it would go away. is not hard you can take the glove box off and you can see it and hear it at the same time there are two one closer to the center console and the other one is closer to the right kick panel. but you can see it them you take off the glove box. it's easy to replaced two screws and a guide stud.

Air conditioner blows hot air

there is a mode controller/actuator in the passenger side area(behing glove box) that will make clicking and rattling noise when failed but I cant say it makes a "horrible" rattle but it is quite audible clicking and clearly is a noise coming from inside the left dash area
