REMOVE BATTERY TERMINALS AND CLEAN REINSTALL AND TRY TO BOOST AGAIN BEFORE YOU SPEND OUT ON STARTER OR MORE EXPENSIVE ITEMS
THEN MAY NEXT SUGGESTION IS TO REMOVE STARTER AND HAVE IT TESTED OFF THE VEHICLE AT AUTO SUPPLY STORE THEY WILL TEST IT FOR FREE , BEFORE YOU FEMOVR IT MIGHT TRY TAPPING ON IT WHILE SOMEONE ELSE IS HOLDING THKEY IN THE START POSITION ( A OLD BROOM HANDLE GOOD FOR THIS TAP HARD ) CHECK TERMINAL ON STARTER MAKE SURE TIGHT ( much less amperage req for lights than starter so it is possible to pass voltage and not enough current to starter )
IF CANNOT AFFORD TO REPLACE BATTERY , RUN BATTERY ALL THE WAY DOWN AND RECHARGE AT RAPID RATE FOR ONE HOUR , IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO A CHARGER OR CAN GET SERVICE CENTER TO DO IT FOR A SMALL FEE THIS WILL SOMETIMES CLEAN THE PLATES IN THE BATTERY CELLS AND WILL GET A LITTLE MORE LIFE OUT OF BATTERY DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK BUT SOMETIMES WILL GIVE A LITTLE MORE SERVICE GOOD LUCK
did you check oil ,if do so , also how long has this care been sitting without being started and run for a length of time

the lights are bright and i cleaned the batt trermanals with a steal brush but have no way to charge it right now but it still wont start as of yet
i just put my batt in my buddies truck and his truck did the same thing i think i found the culprit
i found my battery has two dead cells how do i fix this im kinda low on cash
i got it started now there is an irreguler knock what is this it does not sound like the rod
yes its a court low and i was driving it back and forth from the store before i had it rekeyed
when it was rekeyed the locksmith killed my batterry thats were all the trouble started but like i said once it did start it has a very iregular knock unlike the knock of a piston and it is a metalic knock
this car has not been started for 6 months put a new battery in and i override the emmobilizer but it still just sits there and cranks no firing but it also has 45 pounds of fuel pressure and spark.
i can start it by jumping the starter but it will not stay runing
