I am a little confused...you say 98 Cavalier, but it is posted under 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix???

No matter....In EITHER case, you are wasting your time. The wheel speed sensors are an integral part of the bearing and hub assembly. You cannot disassemble them to do any "cleaning" without destroying them.

I have a 2000 Chev Cavalier...when the T/C light comes on which is supposed to be for traction the car rpm's will rev out like its out of gear then the car will jolt and the rpm's will drop and it will...

Well, when the light is on it means the traction control is off or not working. And yes an ABS wheel sensor could be involved, but I doubt a wheel sensor would cause the symptoms. The jolting part sounds like the transmission is going into neutral for a few seconds.
You should be able to have the abs checked for trouble codes.

My cadilac deville 98 ABS and Traction Contro Light stay on and the car keeps shimming at 50 mph even after putting different tires on it.

First thing you need to do is get the trouble codes from the computer and go from there. It could be just a wheel speed sensor that is faulty.

ok the abs light is on then it need to be service by a computer. take the car to the shop so they can put it on the computer. only the computer can fix and set the dios for this. if you are not having any problems and just the light comes on take the bulb out . it's not a problem. most cars have a few light on like service engine, check oil and so on. if you hate seeing these lights and you know you don't have a problem take out the bulbs

03 Chevy 2500HD Service Brake System Warning

When you replaced the ABS sensor on the hub, did you clean and re-gap the sensor to the speed ring on the hub. There was a recall on the ABS Malfunction on your truck. The tire size don't make a difference to your ABS as long as all four tires are the size, There was a issue bulletin with your Tahoe on the ABS activating under 8 km/h. Good luck and hope this helps, if not clean out the sensor with brake parts cleaner and check the wire harness and ABS sensor bracket. Re gap the sensor to the speed ring hub. Here is the bulletin. Anti lock Brake (ABS) Activation at Low Speeds (Clean Wheel Speed Sensor Mounting Surface) #03-05-25-007C - (05/16/2006) 2001-2006 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, Silverado

ABS is near the breaks when you take the tire off and the break pads you will see it it is very small part that is a sensor. mine went on my car when the guys were putting my breaks on it it really has not made to much of a difference in the breaks. they are costly so I just deal with the ABS light for now til summer
