Transmission is rebuilt and does not get 4th gear. Have changed solenoid and valve body. Have gone thru transmission already twice can't find cause. Checked external connector for power ok. At times would take off in 2nd gear then it gets 4th gear . Any time it takes of in 1st gear it does not get 4th gear

call a dealer and they will tell you you are suppose to change your transmission fluid every 2 years or 30,000miles but if you was carrying this much load you may have over heated the transmission so I would shop around and get a good deal at a transmission place where they can replace the filter and the fluid and adjust the bands on the transmission if needed
SOURCE: cant get 1st gear. 2nd gear nosiey and crunches,
check the gear linkage first for smooth operation, then check/or change your gearbox fluid with the following (before going and ordering a gearbox rebuild - it's much cheaper). Make sure you have it filled to the correct level (see below).
The reverse switch is located on the gearbox, and the switch I have heard, do fail (or you have a short in it's wiring).

have you checked all fuses under the hood? have you checked the fuel pump relay? you may be able to swap the fuel pump relay with amother relay in the fuse box.are you getting power into and out of the reset switch? from there it goes to the fuel pump. if power is getting to the fuel pump and it has a good ground, the the pump is bad.
