It will start first thing in the morning or if its the first time starting it for the day but if you drive for like 15 to 20 mins it will die on me while im driving. if i try to turn it over it tries to start but it wont, the only way we can get it to start is if i ground out the coil pack to make it get spark so i dont know if its the coil pack or shomething else

start by checking all the fuses inside the car and under hood

Hello, I hear that pt quit while driving and you heard a thump, and you replaced the battery and coil and still no fire. Well it sounds like you have timing belt that broke it will keep it from firing at the coil if broke. Remove oil fill have someone spin engine over and see if camshaft turns if not turning the belt is broken. Please rate this answer, Thank you.

I had a similar problem with my 90 LeBaron. It turned out to be the computer.

If it is cranking with out turning over I would check the fuel pump and ignition relay, crank and cam sensors.
Basically you need to figure out if you have a spark issue or a fuel issue. (as long as you didn't have a serious overheating problem). One way to help you figure this out is by spraying in some starting fluid while cranking the engine. If it starts you have a fuel problem, if nothing then you have a spark problem (assuming you didn't blow the head gasket from overheating and was running normally before this happened).
Based on what you've already done here are my recommendations:
No spark: check ignition relay
No fuel: check fuel pump relay (aka shutoff relay, aka fuel pump shutoff relay), crank and cam position sensors, fuel filter.
There is also one other possibility, that the timing belt snapped. You would need to remove the timing cover to check this.
