I have a 2002 Honda Civic LX sedan automatic. The transmission shifter is on the console between the two seats. There used to be a light that illuminated the indicator telling you what gear was selected at night. It no longer works and I'm wondering how easy or difficult it is to replace.
SOURCE: SRS INDICATOR LIGHT
The SRS light refers to your airbags. You can try reseting the light by going to the webpage that I will give you. If it comes back on after you reset it then there is a problem with your SRS system and you will need to have it diagnosed as your airbags will not function when the light is on. Here is the website:

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
SOURCE: 2002 Honda civic makes rear end noise when going around corners.
First of all.. The Honda doesnt have a rear Diff.. Any noise coming from the rear is DEF NOT a gear issue bc its front wheel drive...

TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Check ALL including the spare tire for proper air pressure. If all is well then check the fuse for the TPMS module. If all is well there, off to the dealer you may have to go.
SOURCE: 1991 Honda Civic sedan LX; tow hooks
It sounds like you are describing the standard tiedown hooks on many cars used to secure them to railroad cars, tow trucks, and ship decks. I've never seen them as an option on a new car. They may be referred to in the owner's manual under towing.

the radio will have to be removed to find model and serial numbers, then call Honda.

I've had the same problem. Mine probably went out when the car was only 2 years old. I've never replaced it.
