It's either not getting fuel or spark. Have you checked to see if you are getting any spark to the plugs. Take one of the plug wires off its plug and place it close to the frame or engine. When you crank the engine you should be able to see a spark jump from the plug wire to the frame. if you do not see a spark you have a problem with the ignition system. If you do see a spark then the problem is with the fuel system.

Hope this helps Good luck Loringh

You can try to have someone crank the engine while you climb under the car and pound the fuel tank with a rubber mallet or your fist. Dont laugh! I have gotten cars with fuel pump issues to run several years just by doing this simple step. Intank fuel pumps can sometimes corrode and lose contact or for some reason the fuel pump motor seizes just enough so that it wont turn on its own, sounds like a joke but it has worked on intank pumps on Ford Rangers, Chevy trucks and my own New Yorker. While under the car you should hear the pump run for about 2-5 seconds when they turn on the key, if not the fuel pump isnt working so give it a bump a few times you're out only a few minutes of time if it doesn't solve the problem.

In my chrysler 88 new yorker fuel isn't getting past filter

Hi! It wont past the filter if the Fuel pump is faulty. The fuel pump sucks fuel from fuel tank to the engine. If its faulty it wont have a fuel supply to the engine. Have it replaced and you'll be good. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

89 new yorker sporaticly looses power (gas petal spongy and non-responsive)....especially when it gets warm to hot. Replaced fuel filter, pump, MAP sensor. Please Help!! (Fuel Injected- no carb)

Try a fuel line/injector cleaner you may have a blockage in the injectors causing uneven fuel delivery. I would also recommend new fuel lines or check current lines for leaks/blockages

Starting problems on a 1995 new yorker

Could be a few things. You said starter works, does it turn the car over or just whine?

If the car is turning over it could be a spark of fuel problem. Check your spark plugs, fuel filter and get your pump tested. The fule pump can be heard working when you click you car to the "on" postion, you will hear a buzzing sound. Try leaving your car in the "on" position for about 30 secs, then try starting it. I would also get your battery tested as there may not be enough power getting to the starter to fully turn the flywheel.
