Engine shaking at idle state

Hi Edwin, I'm glad to help. P2311 means: Ignition Coil Secondary Circuit Condition on Cylinder Number 4. FIRST: I'd try replacing the spark plug and plug wire for number 4 cylinder and see what happens. If that doesn't fix it then more diagnostics will be needed. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Edwin.

Engine light permenently on

I would take it to have the codes brought up to make sure . You have not described a problem other than that. Leads me to believe an emission part could be bad. Most parts stores read these for free and are willing to give a printout. They are helpful to determine why it stays on.

Has 68 thousand original miles never been out of

Trust me,if it hasn't been out of the city it will enjoy the country air for a change.Seriusly, check the fluid levels and the tire condition and pressure's first and don't run it hard for a few miles and let the pistons stretch out to higher R.P.M.s It should be okay if it was well maintained

My new yorker runs for a while and then it just

sounds like a clogged fuel filter, but if you have a fuel pessure gauge it would be a good idea to test the fuel pump. It should be at least 8 PSI.

Change serpentine belt 1989 chrysler newyorker

The tensioner is on the left side of the motor when you are standing in front of the car's hood and it's better reached from under the passenger side's quarter panel.

Is my asd or fuel pump relay bad?

ASD automatic shut down relay for non FCA owners of cars the ASD is ECU slave relay the fuel pump can not shut down the pump in fact the opposite is try. ASD drops mostly if the ECU sees spark loss and this act disables the injectors and the pump to end Crash and burn as seen on TV> learn how ASD works first or go broke fast. No engine told or size. and matters for eCU used. pin 51 ECU shots of ASD , it and ONLY IT but I told you spark must be good. on all cars made EFI same answer, now you know way too(crash safety) the red line I made all that goes dead, just one schmatic and wow facts easy out of the SM. I do not claim to know all ecu ASD relay shut downs, (air bags, none) but spark tops the list off all EFI cars made, all. 91-undefined-undefined-0_0.jpg
