How do I fix the clock display on my 1999 Pontiac Sunfire?

It appears to be that the radio clock display has malfunctioned, and is due for a replacement radio, which could be an aftermarket or oem radio, maybe found at a junk yard.

Tools required for oem replacement radio, torx keys set.

Before working on the radio or other electronics, disconnect the battery cables with 8mm wrench.

Replacing the oem radio is much easier, if you obtain oem radio, compared to aftermarket radio, due to being direct fit.

The radio is same for 1995 to 1999 Pontiac Sunfire and the Chevy Cavalier, regardless of sub models, such as SE,GT, VL,VLX,Z24. etc.

Parts needed for the the aftermarket radio install :Stereo assembly, stereo wiring harness adapter, radio antenna adapter, and dash install kit.wiring diagram for the wire colors / functions, along with tools, such as torx key set, screwdrivers, wire crimper, wire stripper, double ended wiring connectors, hair dryer.

The oem stereo removal video is for the 2000 to 2005 Sunfire / Cavalier, but are the same or very similar procedures.

Need to unlock delco radio in 2003 chevy cavalier

Ring the dealership and give them the proof of ownership and the VIN number, they might then give you the unlock code or they may insist you bring it in so they can charge you a pile of money to do it.
Alternatively, spend a couple of hundred on an aftermarket stereo and install it, most often for the same amount of money the dealership will charge you to unlock it, you'll end up with a far better stereo

I need a wiring diagram for a 1989 chevy silverado 1500 2 door (for replacing the stereo)

When I replace a stereo, I buy the harness which is available on Ebay.com or places like Best Buy. All of the wires are labeled and color coded which makes it easier to connect with the wire nuts to any aftermarket stereo that fits in your dash.

05 grand what do i need to install a aftermarket radio

Get a wiring harness adapter kit (about $10) from a stereo shop. It has harness plugs that will plug directly into your harnesses in the dash, and has color-coded wires that you will color-match to the wires on the aftermarket deck's harness. You may need an antenna adapter as well. If your stock stereo face is taller than the aftermarket one, you'll need a dashboard adapter kit to take up the extra space.

Lock out code

I've heard of people using Delco Lock Codes (http://www.delcolockcodes.com) to get their radios unlocked. They seems like a legit site from what I've read. Good luck!!
