There are others that should not be answering because they don't know anything.
The blend actuators are electric and they are on the passengers side. The drivers is on the bottom, if dual zone the passengers is on the top.

This is not the problem but to clarify, the ambient temperature sensor is below the front headlight. There are 2 there, one is for the rear view mirror. The interior temperature sensor is in the drivers headliner.

BEFORE YOU CHANGE ANY ACTUATOR DOORS CHECK THE HEAD LINER FOR THE AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
PART # 22834330 PART COSTS $23.OO. WE CHANGED ALL 4 OF THE ACTUATOR DOORS, THE BLOWER AND THE CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT IN THE DASH.THE AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR WAS READING AT 110 DEGREES INSIDE OUR 2003 h2. OF COURSE IT WAS NOT 110. WHEN YOU PLACE THE CLIMATE SETTINGS AT 90 DEGREES IT OVER RIDES THE SENSOR IN THE HEADLINER AND YOU WILL GET HEAT.ANY TEMPERATURE LESS THAN 90 WILL BLOW OUT COLD AIR.
THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM ON TAHOE'S AND HUMMERS.
A 15 MIN OR LESS FIX.

They are not vac on the h2. there is 2 for temp control, one for recirc and one for blend. check the hummer forum as there is a great read for it there. the driver side actuator is really ez as it's under the glovebox, 20 min fix. the rest take removing the whole dash but it's not that tough.

If this happen only after you replace the battery, then you need to go look around where the battery is at, maybe a vacum line came off, vents work off of vacum.

2004 Chevy Tahoe: I changed A/C blend door actuator on passenger side and it's still blowing heat on my driver side?

Does the vehicle have dual zone climate control, where the driver side and passenger side have different control? Sounds like a blend door issue on the driver side. Why did you replace the passenger side, was it blowing hot too when AC was on?

My 2005 H2 blows cold out of the driver side ducts and very hot out of the passenger side. Is there a reset for the blend doors?

YOU CAN TRY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY, IF THAT DOESN'T WORK U MAY HAVE A BLEND DOOR THAT IS DEFECTIVE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE.

Air conditioning system, when you turn on the air conditioner the drivers side blows cold air and the passengers side blows hot air? What causes this problem?

The most common cause of this is that you have a stuck air temperature control blend door, this can be a motor actuator issue or a jammed door or both (common). To replace both parts you will need to completely remove the dash from the car to access the blend door.

Driver side blowing hot air passenger side blowing cold air

I'm having the same problem except on mine it's the driver's side that's blowing cold. Do you have the pictures in a finer resolution? I can't make them out and when I zoom, they are too grainy. Does the replacement require removing the dashboard? What's the general cost of the acuators? Are they readily available at like NAPA or other parts stores?

1998 buick regal gs heat blows hot on passenger side and cold on the driver side.

Same problem on my 98 Regal GS; remove glove box, locate the blend door actuator, (black odd shaped box with metal "ring"). Remove the box and manually turn the blend door shaft it was attached to. If you get cold air, it's the actuator you removed. About 30-40 dollars.

It blows cold air out the driver side vents instead of warm air when the heat is turned up

Hello,
An all too common problem is the heat/air blend door in the climate control duct system. The blend door is either stuck, or you could have a bad actuator, ( the actuator is the device that moves the blend door based on your setting.)

I would likely have that checked first.

I hope this helps you.
