very old car.
why does wiki show 89 as first year.?
why is 88 missing in alldata.com
my guess, is 88 is build date? and not official mfg year date.
sold under 10 different names
my on line page shows, 1991 rodeo (usa)
head light relay , with 4 pins and the red-blue wire.
ok location.
the fsm im views shows a man with hood open
and removing the fuse box clear cover. and on said cover is the words. head lights, over the Relay spot.
lost the cover? or even look under the hood.?
there is a cab fuse box too with same markings.
the car came new, with the operators guide (sure lost) and has all that there. all fuses and relays.

1999 vw golf front wiper wont stop working changed the relay

Since changing the relay once fixed it, perhaps the problem is with the relay socket. Have you tried jiggling the relay to see if they will stop wiping? Perhaps there is a short behind or inside the socket.

How do i find the right fuse that is connected to windshield wipers 2001 isuzu rodeo?

If they try to move the fuse is not the issue, You need to check the linkages, they are under the panel where the wiper spindles sit, the plastic ends can break and stop them working.

Rear wipers on rodeo wont turn off

Hello! I suspect a defective rear wiper switch...However they are very expensive...This is an unusual fault due to the off in 5 minutes factor...Is that a consistent time period or does it change? I would first remove the wiper switch...Pull the connectors...And spray with a product called DeOxit from Radio Shack...If that doesn't help... Located behind the glove box, up high, is the alarm relay control module...Take it out and visually inspect the circuit board with a bright light view the solder side for cold joints or damage...See photo of Wiper switch below...They run about $200 for a new one...I'd look for a used one...Guru..saailer

My wipers will go on, but wont turn off, unless i turn my car off, or my ignition switch back one notch, and turn it back on...1984 oldsmobile delta 88..The switch has been replaced..Is there a relay for...

the relay is built into the wiper motor its called the pulse contol module and comes with a new wiper motor. make the wipers come on and then get them to stay on while wiper switch is in the off position, then tap the wiper motor and see if it turns off, if it does then u need a wiper motor assembly and be careful opening the hood some wiper arms will contact the hood when the hood is open and the wipers are on

How to remove main relay in 88 acura legend

You take the fascia off that is at your knee area. There is a light and little switch for the wiper position. Then remove the cover (4 bolts) and loosen the wiper/relay block to get enough clearance to stick your long 1/4" extension through and onto the 10 socket you got onto the bolt holding the Main Relay on. The real problem is getting it back on. I cut a "C" out of the mounting flange and put the bolt in loosely. Then with the relay wired I got it slipped into place. Tighten it and the stuff you had to loosen to get to the Relay If you have a new Relay you could just plug it in and hold it up with a wire tie and not take out the old one.
