SOURCE: I need my check engine light to turn off in my 2002 Audi A6

You need to have the car scanned to address the issue that is causing the check engine light to come on. The computer will reset the check engine light once the issue has been addressed and there is not more issues. The scanner can also reset the light but if the problem is still there the light will just come on again. Good luck and hope this helps, Auto Zone scan free of charge.

Audi transmission shift

Park is release by a small solenoid, the solenoid is powered up by the brake light circuit, so if the brake lights don't work due to a bad switch or wiring issue at the switch park will no release. If the brake lights do work then the wiring to the solenoid may be defective or the solenoid is sticking. Every car I have ever worked on has a bypass for the park lock, check your owner's manual for information on bypassing the lock out when this type of problem occurs.

Audi a6 runs but won't move...one day out of the shop for steering issues

Can you put it in Drive? If so, when you put it in drive and step on the gas does the engine feel like it's working hard to move the car or does the engine just rev? Could be a stuck emergency brake or a broken linkage from your gear selector to the transmission. Need some more detail to troubleshoot further. Can you describe happens when you try to move it?

1996 audi a6 quattro leaking and /or spewing antifreeze temperature light coming on

Well I guess you know the engine is overheating, this means death to the engine if you are driving it this way. Seek out a repair shop and have the problem diagnosed and hope you haven't blown out the engine head gaskets

Just bought a used audi a6 and check engine lite came on . as well as a beeping noise

Bring your car to an auto parts store. The will plug a box in to see what error codes are causing the check engine light. Look up the code and fix as needed, the auto parts store will help you out, usually for free.

1999 AUDI A6 avant 2.8L quattro. Car vibrates

This is a manual transmission? If so the clutch probably needs to be replaced. When you say "VIOLENTLY" what is going on, what is the road speed, what are the RPMs at? The more specific information the better. And this problem ONLY occurs between gear changes, right? The other times, everything is normal?
